Nick Jonas is coming out on his own, a week after the Jonas Brothers officially announced their split.
On Sunday night, the youngest of the three performed solo for the first time since the breakup. Nick played an intimate gig in Napa Valley, California taking time to pose with fans.
According to "E! News," many fans on Twitter didn't take kindly to the 21-year-old's decision to move on so quickly. The singer responded to the criticism with a message saying he's choosing to "#LoveInstead."
I hope the people that feel the need to attack others can find whatever peace they are clearly so desperately searching for. #loveinstead— Nick Jonas (@nickjonas) November 3, 2013
Nick actually posted a video of himself performing a cover of Avicii's "Wake Me Up" from the concert on Instagram, and thanked those fans showing support for his solo efforts.
Meantime, a trailer for Nick's next acting gig has hit the web. He stars alongside Dermot Mulroney and Isabel Lucas in the new film called "Careful What You Wish For," which is due out early next year.
